Children’s Dream Adventures is partnering with the Florida Forest Service Withlacoochee Training Center to host a FREE Wildland Firefighter Academy for the transitional age grieving and foster youth we serve September 10th-15th, 2023. This will be a 5-day wildland firefighter academy providing the certifications necessary to obtain entry level employment with federal and state agencies, as well as private wildland fire contractors. CDA will also be assisting graduates with the application process and job placement. Lodging will be provided in the training center dormitories, in addition to all meals being provided on-site at the cafeteria.
